Community Support
Since 2017, I've provided pro bono PR, marketing, event planning and fundraising support to HomeAid San Diego. I was elected to the Board of Directors in 2018 and now serve as the Board President and an active volunteer to help those at-risk of homelessness secure housing, education and stable employment.
In 2021 the PROUD Foundation hired me as an event planner for their first PROUD to Walk For Those Who Serve fundraising event. I now serve as a Board member and volunteer Communication Director for PROUD Foundation serving our San Diego area military community.
In 2021 I developed a marketing and communication assessment of Birthline San Diego and provided an improvement plan along with key resources to assist in making needed enhancements. I continue to provide marketing and PR advice as needed. All my work for Birthline of SD is conducted for free to help improve the lives of mothers and their children in our region.
I serve as a Program and Marketing Committee volunteer member assisting the Better Business Bureau of the Pacific Southwest, the San Diego Business Journal and our Co-Chairs with developing a social impact event that brings together businesses and nonprofits to collaborate on the biggest issues facing our region.
